  1. Slice 500g of beef into thin strips.
  2. Mix 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat beef strips evenly in the cornstarch mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and fry beef until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. In a separate pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and sauté 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tsp grated ginger until fragrant.
  6. Add 3 tbsp chili sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, and 1/4 cup water. Stir until sauce thickens slightly.
